Immediate Premier League champions Liverpool are expected to have a busy transfer window this summer as they look to sign a number of players in a bid to bolster their squad and bounce back from the strange season they had this campaign. The Reds suffered from injuries to a host of their key players in the 2020-21 Premier League season and they will be looking to make more signings to fill up gaps in the squad just in case another unforeseen situation hits them again.

According to reports, they will not only be signing players in the summer but are also expected to part ways with some of their current stars. The first name on the list of certain departures is Netherlands international midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. The former Newcastle midfielder has set his sights on an exit from Anfield after failing to come to terms with the club on a new contract and has been linked with a move to Barcelona and Bayern Munich this summer.

Recent reports are strongly claiming that in a bid to replace the departing midfield star, Liverpool have shown interest in signing Juventus star Aaron Ramsey this summer. The former Arsenal man, who has been linked with a return to the Emirates Stadium, is said to be admired by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and the German boss wants him at Anfield.

The Wales international midfielder has seen playing time at Juventus hard to come by as a result of the rise in form of Weston Mckennie, and he could finally be departing the Turin club when the season comes to an end.

Liverpool are also expected to brace themselves for bids for their players, with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah already being linked with exits from Anfield in the coming summer transfer window.
